I'm Tangie

Nice to Meet You

You’re brilliant. You’re independent. You’re ambitious. You’re motivated.

You work hard to live your absolute best life - traveling, spending time with girlfriends, and never missing a Beyonce concert.

You’re a go-getting, game-changing gal with a deep-rooted desire to achieve financial independence so that you can actually enjoy the life that you’ve worked diligently to create for yourself.

So why do you feel stuck right now? Like reeeally stuck. Like you’re going to be stuck working in that freezing cubicle with bad fluorescent lighting until you have enough saved up to retire. By the way, 67 is the average retirement age 😳

Who TF wants to work until they’re almost 70?! I’m sure you don’t!

You’re always looking for more ways to make more money, save more money, and “create” more money (more on this later)… but like most go-getting women, you’re busy. But you probably feel overwhelmed and a bit confused on how to do these things, right?

Well my friend, I’m glad you’re here!

About You

“Teach her about how money really works, and she can change the world.”
- Linda Davis Taylor

Take a deep breath and imagine...
Being debt free
Having enough money to have your dream wedding or go on your dream vacation
Retiring early
Providing a better life for your children
Resting peacefully at night because you’ve finally slayed your financial woes

Which brings me to why I do what I do...

Like you, I don’t like cold cubicles or fluorescent lighting. I also love money. Seriously. I’m obsessed with money. I check my personal bank accounts, business bank accounts, retirement accounts, and brokerage accounts at least 4 times a day.

I have Bachelors degrees in Economics and International Relations and a Masters degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting. Even though I’ve studied money rigorously, I’ve fallen into many of the financial pitfalls that most young people do.

I created this space to share the lessons that I’ve learned about money and finance from my personal life and my experience in academia such as:

Saving money
Creating multiple income streams
Getting out of debt
Increasing my credit score
Investing in the stock market
Investing in real estate (which is not as hard as you may think)
And saving for retirement (you’re never too young to do think)

About Me

Here, you’ll learn about how to truly create a financially abundant life, whether you’re a student, employed, or an entrepreneur. I’ve been all 3, sometimes all at once, so I’ve been where you are.

Financial independence is important for women like you simply because it gives you OPTIONS! The option to quit your job, retire early, become a nomad, be a stay-at-home mom, or start a business.

By establishing financial freedom, you can do things for yourself and your family that you never thought possible.

If this sounds good to you, then I invite you to come here as much as you need to learn, grow, and ask questions. I’m here to help!

Reach out to me anytime.
